  • Received grant from the U.S. Elections Assistance Commission to train election day poll workers

  • Dr. Eugenie Blang presented a paper on Germany, France and the Vietnam War at the SHAFR Conference 2008 and chaired two panels at the GSA conference in October 2009.Dr. Blang's book, "Allies at Odds," will be published by Rowman & Littlefield Spring 2011.
  • Freedom in My Heart: Voices From the National Slavery Museum, a book which Dr. Natalie S. Robertson co-authored, has been nominated for a NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Book of the Year.
