Departmental Connections

The Department maintains strong links with Arcadia University Center for Education Abroad, the Institute of International Education, State Department International Program, the Department of Fellowships and Internships for Students, the Institutional Diversity Program from Middlebury College and the Association of Departments of Foreign Languages.

The Department of Modern Foreign Languages hosts Fulbright scholars from many overseas countries such as Tunisia in North Africa and Japan in the Pacific.  These ts enhance their peers’ cross-cultural understanding and experiences, help improve linguistic skills and broaden their horizons through interactions.

In addition, students from the Department participate in exchange programs and take courses at international universities such as those in Spain, Japan, Mexico, France, Egypt and South American countries.
